What is the best furniture layout in small living room?

There are many different ways you can arrange a living room, depending on the size of your space and the type of and size of your furniture.. however your layout should always be conversational. You want a few different options to sit it so that if your have guests over you are not all lined up on a couch staring at the tv.

Conversational Arrangment: I would suggest having your furniture placed to be facing one another to form a conversation area, and form them with the fireplace as focal point. Most likely if you have a tv above your fireplace which is a plus.

This arrangement may be different for those who choose not to have a tv in your living room, or do not have a fireplace, if so choose something else to be your focal point to form the arrangement around such as a view at of the window, French doors.. or maybe you just have a tv and want to make that your focal point, which is completely fine. Each space and personal preference is different in this way.

Furniture.

You want a few different seating options, such as:

1: A sofa and 2 accent chairs

2: A sectional and 2 accent chairs

3: 2 sofas and 2 accent chairs

You can see in all three of these arrangements conversation would be very comfortable and natural. They all have either a coffee table which is a must in a comfortable living room. Unless you prefer an ottoman!
